So, here’s the scoop: There are a lot of series I have not and do not plan on finishing. I thought long and hard about this after my last post, the part where I promised to give the Matched Series another chance. I looked through my bookshelves and then scrolled through my amazon book shelf and found a lot more series I haven’t even attempted to finish. The first emotion I felt? Absolute shame.
FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Sponsored by MIZB at Should Be Reading.
I love thrift stores. I’m one of those girls who makes a bee-line straight passed all of the major clothing stores and ducks into a consignment shop. There is just absolutely nothing wrong with thrift stores. I remember when I was a kid, even when I was a teenager, I was so embarrassed to be buying my jeans at a local Goodwill. My family didn’t have a lot of money and this was just the way things were. All of my stuff was hand-me-downs from relatives or off of the rack from Goodwill. I had few brand new things, but as a child I was naive. Now I see the potential in things. Now I can see how some clothing from ten years ago, is in style now.
It’s ironic, really. I’ve been waiting all day to post this and now it’ll barely be in before the clock strikes midnight where I’m at. *eye-roll* It’s been a tasking day y’all.
Waiting on Wednesday is sponsored by Breaking the Spine: it’s a weekly event that spotlights up and coming releases.
